A lovely example of Iron Pyrite on chalk, found in Yorkshire. This stretch of beach and area is known for his rich fossil, iron and ore finds, some of which are considered unusual for the areas geology.
Every effort is made to photograph the crystals as accurately as possible, but please allow for slight variations in colour. We do not edit or use filters on our photos, we only photograph in natural daylight. Some materials however, photograph differently to how they look with the naked eye.
