Pyromorphite (England)
Weight: 134g
Size: 7cm x 4cm approx
Location: Burgam Mine, Stiperstones, Shropshire, England
Quarry status: Abandoned, but open to visitors who wish to explore the old site at their own risk.
A mossy looking delight, this Pyromorphite looks like a mini garden in a mountainside. This is a more unusual example of the darker Pyromorphite on a darker matrix, which we think adds to its ability to blend into the English countryside.
Every effort is made to photograph the crystals as accurately as possible, but please allow for slight variations in colour. We do not edit or use filters on our photos, we only photograph in natural daylight. Some materials however, photograph differently to how they look with the naked eye.
