This now abandoned lead ore mine produced some of the finest Malachite that Wales has seen. The fibrous quality and intense colour makes it an attractive collectors piece. Welsh Malachite is considered fairly rare, especially as the mines are no longer active and have sat abandoned for many, many years. 

Every effort is made to photograph the crystals as accurately as possible, but please allow for slight variations in colour. We do not edit or use filters on our photos, we only photograph in natural daylight. Some materials however, photograph differently to how they look with the naked eye.
