Pieces from this mine are sought after from collectors, as the mine has not operated since the mid 1800s. It was known for its Rhodonite and manganese minerals, with some sources suggesting Garnets were also found in this region. This piece of Rhodonite is a lovely example and when sat a certain way displays a subtle natural heart shape.
